Revisiting growth hormone nadir cut-offs for remission in patients with acromegaly

Abstract

Objective Over the past decade, growth hormone nadir cut-off during oral glucose tolerance test for remission in patients with acromegaly was changed from 0.4 to 1.0 μg/L due limited use of ultrasensitive detection kits measure levels. However, optimal level remains unclear. This retrospective study aimed investigate association between different cut-offs and prognosis acromegaly.
